This 814ce is a stunning example of Taylor's excellent craftsmanship, superior playability, and beautiful composition. Featuring a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, this Grand Auditorium has what many will find as more comfortable than a dreadnought due to it's slimmer waist without sacrificing a full low end presence or sparkling overtones. The armrest enhances the comfortability even further by taking away the sharp body edge where your arm wraps around the guitar in the typical playing position. The grain to the rosewood on this particular guitar really stands out compared to others and along with the binding and inlay work found around the guitar, really makes it for a visually spectacular guitar. Underneath the hood of this guitar is Taylor's V-Class bracing which in conjunction with the tone woods gives this guitar outstanding intonation and resonance. To take the sound even further, this guitar is equipped with Taylor's ES-2 electronics which are their most sonically accurate pickup system with three adjustable sensors found behind the saddle of the guitar. This system is great because of its clear articulation while maintaining a warm low end. Both finger style or flat pickers can find themself at home with this guitar as it is great all around.

This guitar ships with a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
