The Taylor Gold Label 814e is a masterfully crafted acoustic/electric guitar that redefines Taylor's signature sound with an innovative Super Auditorium body shape. This slightly larger version of the classic Grand Auditorium delivers impressive power while retaining warmth and richness, making it an ideal choice for both traditionalists and modern players. The guitar features Honduran rosewood back and sides paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, resulting in deep low-end presence, sparkling trebles, and a harmonically rich tonal profile.

Inside, Taylor's Fanned V-Class bracing enhances sustain, volume, and pitch accuracy across the entire neck. A long-tenon neck joint improves resonance and sonic transfer while allowing for precise adjustments when needed. The LR Baggs Element VTC electronics ensure natural amplified tones, making this guitar stage- and studio-ready.

Visually, the Gold Label 814e boasts refined aesthetics with a Custom Single Ring rosette, a new Continental inlay suite, grained ivoroid binding, an engraved ivoroid/tortoise pickguard, and antique chrome Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons. Finished in a high-gloss body with a satin-finished neo-tropical mahogany neck, this guitar exudes elegance. It ships with a deluxe Taylor hardshell case in British Cocoa.
