The X Series is built for performance. The acoustic-electric D-X2E Brazilian 12-String combines a hand-rubbed satin spruce top with an elegant abalone pattern rosette, and stunning Brazilian rosewood-patterned high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides, offering durability and eye-catching aesthetics without compromising Martin’s renowned tone. Playability is enhanced by a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge, refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable feel. The select hardwood neck, fingerboard, and bridge improve sound and sustain, while Martin E-1 electronics offer a built-in chromatic tuner, and controls for volume, tone, and phase. The iconic Dreadnought body shape provides powerful projection and deep bass, making it versatile for any genre and skill level, while the 12-string configuration adds a rich layer of chime, tone, and texture. Each X Series model includes a softshell case for easy transport.
