This is a brand new 6.6lb "C-Stock" Sterling Mariposa that received damage from the factory. This guitar still comes with warranty, however because of the cosmetic defect, we have reduced the price and listed it as used. It will still ship set-up and inspected. This is a great chance to have a great guitar at a killer price and not have to worry about putting the first scuff in it!
Cosmetic Defects: This guitar has a chip on top neck joint near 21st fret and 22 fret. There is also some light scuffing on the back of the neck around the 1st & 2nd fret zone.

Designed in collaboration with Omar Rodríguez-López, the Mariposa is a true stunner. The guitar’s unique body shape is eye-catching, but there is more than meets the eye with the Mariposa. Featuring a roasted neck, locking tuners, 3-way switching, and two humbucking pickups controlled by separate volume knobs, this guitar has endless tonal options.
OFFSET SIGNATURE DESIGN
The Mariposa’s eye-catching offset body was designed in close collaboration with Omar Rodríguez-López, the genre-bending composer and guitarist of Mars Volta and At the Drive-In.
CUSTOM ARTIST PICKUPS
Just like Omar’s playing, the Mariposa’s custom dual humbucking pickups are dynamic. This guitar comes with two volume pots, one for controlling each pickup.
