The Martin OM-42 is a premium acoustic guitar that showcases exceptional craftsmanship and tone, making it an ideal choice for discerning players. Part of Martin's Standard Series, this OM-sized guitar features a 14-fret body design that delivers a balanced tonal response with excellent projection and clarity. The top is crafted from Sitka spruce, adorned with an abalone inlay and multi-stripe binding, enhancing both its visual appeal and acoustic resonance. The back and sides are made from East Indian rosewood, providing rich lows and articulate highs, while the scalloped X-bracing ensures superior responsiveness and sustain. The neck, constructed from genuine mahogany, offers a Modified Low Oval profile with a High Performance Taper for comfortable playability across the fretboard. Finished in a high-gloss aging toner, the OM-42 exudes vintage-inspired elegance, complemented by gold open-gear tuners and a faux tortoise pickguard.
