Available now at Haggerty's Music, the Gibson Elvis Dove is a stunning tribute to the King of Rock & Roll and the legacy of one of his most iconic guitars. This model is inspired by the custom 1969 Gibson Dove gifted to Elvis by his father, Vernon Presley, which became a staple of his performances from 1971 to 1975. Most famously, Elvis played this Dove during his historic Aloha from Hawaii concert, broadcast via satellite in 1973. True to his generous spirit, he gifted the guitar mid-performance to a lucky fan in Asheville, North Carolina, in 1975.

The Gibson Elvis Dove boasts a solid Sitka spruce top, solid maple back and sides, and a mahogany neck paired with a rosewood fretboard for rich, balanced tones. Outfitted with modern LR Baggs VTC electronics, including an under-saddle piezo pickup and discreet soundhole-mounted controls, it’s stage-ready and primed for performance right out of its included hardshell case.
