This used Cedar Creek will ship insured, fully setup, and inspected from our Rapid City, SD location. This Dulcimer is in excellent condition with minmal wear on the neck and body. Fret dots have been numbered. Fret wear is light with minor fret sprout. For condition, refer to photos.

Here’s your chance to own a beautifully preserved piece of Ozark craftsmanship—this 1993 Cedar Creek Mountain Dulcimer, serial number A225, is the 225th instrument built that year by the Cedar Creek workshop in Branson, Missouri. Available now at Haggerty’s Music in Rapid City, SD, this dulcimer is modeled after the “Aspen Leaf” design popularized by Cripple Creek, with elegant carved soundholes, a contoured hourglass body, and a nasally, traditional voice ideal for Appalachian folk and modal styles. The dulcimer features 19 numbered diatonic frets, perfect for both beginner navigation and seasoned modal playing. While we originally had limited information, confirmation from the original builder tells us the body is constructed from birch laminate, the fretboard is likely walnut or aged mahogany, and the headstock is mahogany. Includes a case.
