Created as part of Taylor’s ultra-exclusive 2025 Catch Custom event, the C52ce 12-Fret “Windward Coast” is a show-stopping 12-string Grand Concert that combines boutique craftsmanship with breathtaking sonic and visual artistry. This extremely rare instrument showcases Taylor’s Custom Shop mastery — from hand-selected tonewoods and precision construction to a finish and aesthetic that immediately captivates.

At its core is a Lutz spruce top, enhanced by Taylor’s V-Class bracing, which offers enhanced volume, sustain, and harmonic clarity across all 12 strings. The back and sides feature a stunning 4-piece configuration with figured big leaf quilted maple wings flanking a bookmatched Hawaiian koa wedge, all wrapped in a shimmering Trans Light Blue gloss finish. This configuration delivers a shimmering top-end, warm mids, and controlled low-end that speaks with clarity and balance.

The 18-fret Grand Concert body provides an ideal platform for players seeking comfort, projection, and punch in a 12-string format, while the shorter 24-7/8" scale length makes it significantly easier on the fretting hand. A hard rock maple neck with Taylor’s Standard Carve profile and a Crelicam ebony fingerboard ensures smooth playability, enhanced by a Florentine cutaway for effortless access to upper frets.

The “Windward Coast” also features Gotoh 510 antique gold mini tuners, a black TUSQ nut, and Taylor ES2 electronics for stage-ready performance.

This limited-edition custom is housed in a Taylor deluxe brown hardshell case and is available now at Haggerty’s Music.
