First introduced in 1932, the Gibson L-00 has remained one of the most iconic small-body acoustic guitars in Gibson’s history. The L-00 Special continues this tradition, offering a solid mahogany body and solid Sitka spruce top for a balanced, resonant tone with excellent dynamic range. Its SlimTaper™ utile neck provides a comfortable playing experience, while the rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays adds a classic touch. The traditional scalloped X-bracing enhances projection and sustain, making this guitar ideal for fingerstyle, blues, and singer-songwriter performances. Outfitted with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup system, the L-00 Special is stage- and studio-ready, delivering a warm and natural amplified tone. Finished in satin nitrocellulose lacquer and complete with a premium soft shell case, this USA-built Gibson acoustic is available now at Haggerty’s Music.
